  • Willem Le Roux
    Managing Director

    Willem attended Netscope IT Training college in 2001, where he obtained various qualifications in software development, web development, network architecture and design. After applying these skills at various companies as well as for his own account, he moved to London where his focus shifted to the financial services sector. During this time, he gained experience in structured tax solutions, which included special purpose entities to minimise the tax liability of foreign nationals.

    Willem later returned to South Africa and obtained degrees in commerce and law from Stellenbosch University in 2007 and 2009 respectively. At university, he was chairman of the Law Students’ Society, a member of the Law Faculty Council, chairman of the Students’ Representative Council and a member of the University Council. In 2008, Willem had an audience with the Dalai Lama at his residence in India and in 2009 he became an alumnus of the “Brightest Young Minds” initiative.

    In 2010 Willem attended the School for Legal Practice and joined the Rose Street Chambers as a candidate attorney in June of the same year. Willem was admitted as an attorney in 2011. In 2012, he started the immigration division at Ashman Attorneys, the firm where he became a partner in 2013.  In 2014, he left Ashman Attorneys to found Le Roux Attorneys Inc.

  • Ayesha Casper
    Operations Manager

    Ayesha studied Anthropology, Sociology and Psychology at the University of the Western Cape and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009. In 2010, Ayesha joined a well-known Cape Town-based immigration company as a consultant, where she advised clients on various aspects of South African immigration.

    Ayesha’s attention to detail, professional approach and enthusiasm caused her to quickly rise through the ranks and gain the respect of her peers and superiors. She was promoted to the position of senior consultant, where she had the opportunity to deal with more complex immigration matters. As a senior consultant, Ayesha also gained extensive experience in dealing with the Department of Home Affairs.

    In 2012 Ayesha joined an insurance company which focused on personal and commercial insurance for guest house owners. Fortunately, Ayesha decided to return to immigration and she joined Le Roux Attorneys Inc. in February 2013 as an immigration specialist.

    Ayesha now oversees the operations of the business in her role as Operations Manager.

  • Ibtesaam Karra
    Immigration Administrator

    Ibtesaam Karra matriculated in 2012 from Darul Islam Islamic High School. She started her working career in 2013 at the Western Cape Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, initially on a volunteer basis and there after she was appointed as an intern. During this time she was also studying on a part-time basis at the College of Cape Town towards her Certificate and Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Business Management.  She is in the last lap of completing her Diploma as she is completing her practical assessment. The next phase of her career began in July 2015, where she was employed as Junior Immigration Consultant at Le Roux Attorneys Inc. It is very different from the public sector but she is learning so much and thoroughly enjoying her experience there. Her goal for the future is to study part-time towards her qualification as a Certified Technical Financial Accountant. 

  • Megan Catherine Lee
    Immigration Attorney

    Megan graduated with an LLB degree from the University of Cape Town in 2015 and then went on to serve her Articles of Clerkship at the UCT Refugee Rights Clinic.

    Megan was admitted as an attorney in May 2018 and continued to work at the UCT Refugee Rights Clinic.

    In early 2019, Megan completed her LLM degree at the University of Cape Town and joined Le Roux Attorneys as an Immigration Attorney in July 2019. Megan is currently studying towards becoming a Notary Public.

  • Terence le Roux
    Immigration Administrator

    Terence Le Roux matriculated in 2004 from Kasselsvlei Secondary High School. He started his working career in 2015 at Juta Bookstores (Pty) Ltd in Cape Town, on a contract basis. 

    The next phase of his career began in July 2006, where he was employed as a Data Capturer at Mettle Credit Services and further worked until his full potential as a Disposal Clerk/ Repossession Clerk. He then later moved to new ventures and took an offer from Aucor Auctioneers in Midrand, Johannesburg where he was employed as a Key Accounts Co-Ordinator and later filled the position as Debtors Clerk. In 2011 he returned back to his hometown, Cape Town and was appointed as a Credit Assessor at Capitec Bank Limited in Bellville, Cape Town where he began a course in Banking in the Financial Industry with Cornerstone.

    Terence has since moved on and took the position as an Immigration Administrator at Le Roux Attorneys in 2017. While very different from the Financial Industry the experience & attention to detail serves as a very beneficial characteristic in this new & exciting chapter of his professional career. His goal for the future is to study part-time towards his qualification in Business Management.

     

  • Ezelle Beukes
    Front of House Receptionist

    Ezelle received her National Diploma in Journalism from the Cape Town Peninsula University of Technology in 2012. She went on to work for one of South Africa’s leading media houses.

    After becoming a mom, she decided to make a career change and joined the Le Roux Attorneys team in 2016.

    With the skills learnt during her time as a journalist, her hard working and passionate nature and her people skills, she excels in her position as a Front of House Receptionist. Ezelle also assist the attorneys with various immigration litigation and civic matters.
